After Graduating 👨🏽‍🎓🛫

After I graduate….

It seems like it’s far away, but it will come by quickly. Once I graduate, I hope to start searching for a job within the Graphic design industry, or travel around the world. As an individual who would hold a Ba degree in Graphic design and have learned all elements of the subject, I could choose to work as an illustrator, film / video editor, web designer and more.

Personally I would want to work as a Graphic designer, Web developer or within Ui design and once gained enough experience a Creative director. Whilst working on my module 4017AAD part of the unit was to code a website for the folktale festival I had created. I really enjoyed designing my website and building it to life. I enjoyed learning and researching more about coding to make a functional website at a high standard.

By the time I leave university I may have done a bit of ui design in a module or so, but I came across a video about it on YouTube which caught my attention. I liked the idea of designing the user interface of an app in an aesthetically coherent way to ensure person can navigate easily without having to think too much about what they’re doing.

Seeing Tanya’s work made me very interested about Ui/Ux design. I liked how her designs included illustrations, shapes, colours and textures in a minimal way but yet still stand out. There are lots of elements to consider in UI/UX design as everything must work as a whole.

I will also create a linked in profile to search for jobs and allow people to find me. I would want to work in London, New York or California as it’s home to the creative industry. My dream job would be to work as a designer for Google, Apple, Facebook or Amazon as they are globally known for being very technologically developed, stylish, sleek and elite. The brands have a strong personality about lifestyle; imagination; innovation; passion; hopes, dreams and aspirations
