A successful CV πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸ“‘

Today’s lesson required me to plan and map out all of my skills and academic records in order to create a template for my cv, which would help me promote myself when looking for job opportunities in the industry.

I compiled a list of all relevant skills I possess that might be useful in the Editorial Design/Graphics industry.

After mapping out my skills and accomplishments, I filled out a cv planner in which I followed a structure and created sentences that I could include in my final cv. I made a list of all my work experiences, grades, and skills in bullet points.

I decided to look up some tips online in order to successfully design my cv for the graphic design industry. It is critical, to include links to your work/portfolio and to use proper terminology. Lastly, create your cv personal thatΒ demonstratesΒ your abilities as a designer.

Here is Β my cv design, which demonstrates my abilities as a designer. I made a column structure to make it easier to see all of my information. Since I’m interested in editorial design, I thought it would be cool to incorporate this into my cv through composition and layout. To personalise my cv, I also added my logo to the header. I’m very pleased with the format of my cv and will definitely use it to find summer internships.
