Freelance, studio or agency? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Within the Graphic design industry there are many career paths to take upon. Studios, agencies and freelance are the popular ones.

Working in a studio is much more niche and simplistic based as you focus on projects like writing, programming, video and photography. You are limited to what you can do.

On the other hand, working for an agency allows you to patriciate in any project available. Agencies are normally hired by large organisations who are spending millions of pounds for design projects. Working for a design agency allows you to learn from other creatives in your workspace and build collaboration team working skills. You also learn to work on time management skills which I’m sure is a must for everyone.

Many prefer to work freelance and be their own boss, which comes with its luxuries. Working freelance you are able to choose which projects you want to work on and have the freedom of choosing working hours to suit your needs.

However, many may find it hard to find clients and It can be difficult to make a lot of money in today’s industry of crowdsourcing, outsourcing and over saturation.

As an individual i enjoy working with other people and collaborating with ideas and designs so i’d be interested in working at a design agency at the moment.
